Jason's Deli, Sodo, Orlando, FL. I hesitate to judge a restaurant until I have given it a second chance. Since this particular Jason's Deli location opened recently, I have given it 3 chances, just to be fair. The first visit was opening day and I ordered a Reuben. The corned beef was tough, the Russian dressing was not served on the sandwich as advertised; however, there was a humongous amount of sauerkraut (really a sauerkraut sandwich). On the last two visits I have ordered a 1/2 Plain Jane potato with the salad bar. Both times I received old baked potatoes. So old, in fact, that both potatoes were gray and hard inside, as if they had been baked multiple times prior to serving. I passed on the sour cream and opted for cheese. This was a not a good decision; the cheese was like rubber after cooling a bit and had to be cut with a knife. Although both were large sized servings, it did not make up for the lack of flavor and visual appeal. On the bright side, Jasonâs Deli has an excellent salad bar with loads of healthy choices. Bang for the buck? No. I personally feel the price is a little high at $14.98 for a baked potato, salad, and iced tea.
Awesome food, but a bit high in price for their salad bar
