I was surprized at the lack of spice, considering the so-called Tex-Mex flavor of the place. The atmosphere was fun, but it lacked a true restaurant feeling...rather slip-shod in all. However, the wait-staff was friendly. I would not pay for this again, considering all the really good mexican restaurants out there.
We have eatern at this resturant several times. This last time was a shock. Not only did it take almost an hour to get our food, when a friend joined us, he got his food 20 minutes after joining us to eat, and we still had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get ours. The food, except for the nachos (ordered from the menu-which were came burnt) was great as it normally is, but for some reason, the service was lousy this time around. I never saw the owners, as I would normally have, otherwise I would have said something. A very diappointing visit.
Best Burger in Town. Great Tex-Mex food. Great people. In good weather sit on the patio overlooking the river. Otherwise check-out the dinning room with the full length window over looking the river. In the off-season that same dinning room has a nice cozy fire pit to sit around. Some may call it a a "Dive". But only in the best sense of the word. Great location, great food and great people, what more could you want.
