I love this place and the service is great. They will prepare your food however spicy you want it. I highly recommend the Tom Yum Shrimp (a soup made with lemongrass)- it's great to warm you up in the winter. Anything made with the Thai basil is great too.
After living in Detroit for most of my life I found it hard to locate a restaurant that I liked. I just happened by the Thai House a bit over a year ago and fell in love. Their staff is excellent in helping you choose a menu item, their actual menu has a wide variety and the food is just outstanding. Fresh ingredients and ambiance make this place great, it makes you want to return. I highly recommend you try it at least once, for a simple, mild dish that has a lot of flavor, the traditional Pad Thai is great, but if you want something with more substance, just as the cook, she can recommend something great!
Before stopping by this innocuous little restuarant, I was a devout Chinese food lover. After one visit to the Thai House, I was instantly converted to the fresher, lighter, and healthier Thai cuisine expertly prepared by the smiling chef in the open kitchen. The Pad Thai, Ginger Chicken, Thai House Special Chicken, Yum Nam Sod, and all of the curries are delicious and exotic. As well, the prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. It is definitely worth your visit!
