Our Best Place!: Goodwood is all around great. They are friendly, and we are in so often, Kevin even remembers our names! They have consistently excellent food. This is the only restaurant we have been to A LOT and we have never had a bad meal, nor bad service! Kudos to a local restaurant that has figured out how to run things well!!

Great BBQ! and more...: This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who knows I'm looking for the best ribs on Earth. I found the ribs here to be moist, tender, meaty, and just smoky enough. Very good! They cook them in the sassy sauce but they also provide a spicy version. The sauces are for sale by the way. Mom's potato salad is the best and I know what I like in a potato salad. No vinegar. This is like home made and they sell it to go too. Yay! The beans are the second best I have ever had, cooked with meat and other additions. Yummy! The ambience is noisy so be prepared to shout at your tablemates. The lunch bunch was there so there was a lot of talking. The decor is woodsy, flaming lanterns, lots of stone and wood, very beautiful. If only the building had muffled acoustics. I went alone at lunch, was given a booth and was never made to feel rushed. The service was fabulous. I wanted to compliment the staff and food and the manager himself came by to chat. Very personal service. There is an extensive take out menu so you can enjoy at home. I bought some pulled pork to take home for the next day. My friend told me to try the BBQ chicken next trip. For great BBQ, reasonable prices and good service, try Goodwood BBQ Co. You will be back.
