We absolutely loved this daycare/ preschool! Our daughter loved it as well, and our son will attend as well when he is a bit older. It was so very structured and there was a lot of care for the children. Plus they are willing to help out with extra days last minute if you need it!

This is the most professional and cleanest child care I have ever been too. The staff has a real attention for detail and is very professional. The facility is family owned and operated.

The facility is amazing. It has fantastic security system with a front door which requires parents to be buzzed in by staff. Each child is checked in and out.

The staff has a great curriculum and qualifications for early childhood development. They are excellent with the kids --- very fair, they do not allow bullying and encourage kids to flourish. Wow, I don't worry about my kid when they are at Rainbow country. I know my child will come home safe and more educated each day.

I would take some of the negative posts "with a grain of salt" as there is an "antiintellectualism " movement in some of Maine.

Wow, you read some of these reviews and see some people may have had some issues. I believe the issue was they never spoke to the staff about the concerns they had @ Rainbow! Both of my children attended Rainbow and overall I am very happy with the experience.

Facility-It is amazing! The gym is great, classrooms are a good size and the lunchroom is nice as well. My only wish was that lunch was available to purchase.

Director:
The director listened to any concerns I had and implemented programs to correct concerns. As I read the other reviews, it does make me upset that people would write such things. Communication was never an issue when my children were there. I beleive people may not have heard what the Rainbow staff was telling them about their children.

Staff:
Overall the teachers I dealt with were pleasant. My kids adored the teachers they had. I do know a few have left, but overall was very happy with the staff.

Schedule/Structure: There was in my opinion the correct amount of structure to help children thrive as they go onto school. It really prepared my kids to move into a classroom setting. It cannot be playtime all the time!

I would say, do some research of anywhere you take your kids for childcare. No one will do exactly what you want done all the time, but Rainbow came really close for me. And my kids to still refer to it as “their first school” when we drive by it!
