Mora, Maria E MD - Middleburg Pediatrics

I have had good expierences with the office. I have only encountered Dr. Mora once and she was very nice and helpful with my daughter. The staff was great. My only complaint is I had an appt. at 8 and the recepetionist took her time at checking my daughter in. She was having a conversation with another staff member and neglected to open up the window to check us in. I guess you will encounter some bad customer service one time or another. Other than that I would recommend this office.

I give Dr. Mora's practice a 4 ONLY because of her nurse practitioner keeping us there! Dr. Mora is VERY rude. She is professional and I'm sure she knows what she is talking about but one of the most important assets in holding a career in the medical field is to LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENT. She does not seem to care about answering questions or concerns and wants to get in and get out without being "bothered." I took both my boys in for a check up and while my infant son was being looked at, my 4 year old played nicely in the corner with one of those toys that the wooden pieces move around the maze of shapes. She kept addressing him to be quiet, even though it was her toy that was making the most noise. And finally when she got stern with my son and he looked at me as if to say, "Mom I am being quiet and just playing!" I told her he was doing good and the toy was making the most of the noise. Her rebuttle? "Well I LIKE my toy!" So what is that supposed to mean?! Yes, I took it to heart. Because this a place that is supposed to understand kids and their ways of being. I left that day with no intention of ever coming back, but decided I should give the nurse practitioner a try since I just moved to the area and my 4 year old was due for his shots soon. SHE WAS AWESOME!! So the grade is based off of HER. I believe her name was Christy? She was polite and patient and my son LOVED her. And this was the day he got his shots, too! :) I recommend this practice ONLY for the nurse practioner. If you can't get her, go somewhere else!

Dr. Mora is very rude, and has an attitude. Though she gets her job done, its not a friendly enviroment period. This office is so quick to put children on behaivor medication. And know for a fact that at her staff use street DRUGS well at least one of her staff because I seen. Her staff should be druged test.I have also heard several times patients privacy was broken staff talking about patients.
