User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy 18 month old Lab and I just completed a dog obedience class with Vikki Boyd through the Campbell Parks & Rec Department. Though Gabi is pretty advanced for the basics that were covered, the bonding, reinforcement, and ability to work on individual problems really helped us to advance her training. Vikki's teaching is based on Ian Dunbar's philosophy of positive reward (food, praise, play) and she was so patient with us and our dogs. There were six dogs in our group and by the end of the class all dog/owner skills were markedly improved. If you are looking for a great class check her out.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsVikki did a wonderful job training Abby (and us). We started with a wild little puppy who was constantly biting. We ended five weeks later (we skipped the holiday week) with a bright little dog who consistently responds to our commands. Vikki gave us homework to do each week and we were pretty good at getting it done. We could not be more pleased.

Vikki was an excellent trainer. She really showed me how to work with my dog. She answered all of my questions and gave me confidence.She not only helped me train my dog, but referred me to some excellent sites that would help me with grooming and was willing to show me how to groom my dog as well. She really knows her stuff and is amazing with animals. I would definitely recommend her. We will miss Vikki and her excellent knowledge.
