I think the sushi bar is very very good, Hot buffet is okay. Sweet is good. Everything is good about the resturant accept for the waitress they expect you to pay a tip for basically serving your self and if you give them a tip but not that much they give you an attitude, and once you go back and the waitress remembers you that's not good & Im saying that out of experience. Sadly for that reason I stopped going.
this place has good sushi
hotbar is below avarage
just stay away from the salad mixed with raw tuna
I always get a stomachache when eating that
This is the best sushi buffet I've been to, and buffet-lovers would probably love this place. However, I don't care for buffets because I can rarely eat enough to "get my money's worth". For the price, I can get a more enjoyable sushi meal elsewhere. Todai is about quantity, not quality, as would be evident if you're into sashimi or nigiri sushi. But you're into the California and maki rolls, Todai is the place to be.
As a side note, I kind of felt ripped off being charged $1.50 for hot tea. I should have just gotten a soda.

base on the story i am guessing you didnt give them the fair tips that was why they gave you an attitude...well, everytime i went there i gave them 15%tips...if they were good to me i gave more but if you are such a cheap person less than %10 i recommend you just cook at home or if you are so lazy go take to go...so you can avoid giving tips...there are some mean people expect waitress to take care them 100% and treat them nice but dont give them fair tips..what a pityful people. In America it is customary to tip and that is how waitresses make their money. If you can't afford the service then stay home and cook for yourself.
