Unprofessional and disorganized: I used Chicago Cat Nannies and had a decent experience. However there were some issues (sitter showed up late and disorganized for first meeting, and didnt' really spend any time meeting the cats, and I found out later than there were two different people doing the sitting, when I thought it would be only one consistent person, as it says on the website). I posted my experiences on yelp.com and rated the service 3-stars.
The owner, Laurie, contacted me to have me revise or remove my review because she said she didn't want her average rating to go below 5-stars. She was obvioulsy more concerned with her rating than with customer service. I said no as it was an honest and fair review and I gave her 3 of 5 stars. She began sending me very inappropriate emails, telling me that I didn't love my cat and was not giving them a good home. She said their service was used to taking cats for walks in the park in pink or blue strollers and feeding gourmet cat food, and that I obviously didn't have the same views of what providing a proper home for a cat was (clearly). She was rude, unprofessional and immature, and resorted to personal attacks and insults simply because she did not like my review (which again, was 3-stars and even said I would try her again and reccomend her to others. Obviously my views have changed based on her behavior after my review).
I have never dealt with such an absurd woman, and I suggest anyone who is looking for a cat sitter, look elsewhere.
