User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThis place is always busy for luncn. The locals do seem to just love eating here! I have eaten here about 7 times because it was the choice of a friend I was lunching with. I don't get it. The ambiance is nice...old Biloxi with some great reproductions of old photos of Biloxi and the shrimpers fleet, great. One of their Specials is spagetti. I have never eaten anything particularly good here. I am always disappointed in the food. The spagetti is very disappointing. When I am forced to go here I just get a hamburger...its ok. The service is very good.

We asked at a gas station where the locals go to eat and they directed us here. They were not kidding. We went for lunch and the place was packed. The food was wonderful. If ever in the area again i wld be first on our list for a return visit. In fact, we met some people at a different restaurant the night before we left town and told them to be sure not to miss the Schooner!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI absolutely LOVE this place. Every time I go to visit I make sure I go to Schooner's. Gumbo is WONDERFUL! Got to have Barq's in the glass bottle or it just isn't a visit to Schooner's.
