| About: | Footprints Cafe is a family-owned Caribbean restaurant that originally opened its doors in Flatbush, Brooklyn in 2001. When the original location became a hit, the owners decided to expand in 2006. They opened a new location nearer to the water in Coney Island, giving the restaurant more of a island feel. Footprints Cafe offers reasonably priced Caribbean fare from a large selection of appetizers like beef patties and calypso pepper shrimp, salads such as the potato crusted goat cheese and tuna sashimi salad, and roti. Entrees include a variety of chicken selectionsincluding jerk chicken, of courseseafood, and vegetarian options. Footprints also features live music, cutting-edge comedians, and a lively karaoke scene. - Linda Steinmuller |

I went to this Footprints location back in June for my birthday. Overall, I would say it was a good dining experience. I like how downstairs have the band playing and singing reggae songs, and the upstairs is where the bar is, and have flat sceen tv's in where you can watch the band.
I end up getting Jerk Chicken as my appetizer, and for the main dish Cajun Shrimp and Chicken. Oh yes, and the macaroni pie is off the chain. My cousin ended up getting the rasta pasta, and of course I had to take some from hers. I thought the pasta was good. Overall, I would give this location in Coney Island another shot.
