it's good but not any good sevices and young age waitress serving alcoholic beverages. oh yeah it cost to much......
The thai food is not so bad, nothing special. Their sushi is terrible! It is as bad as their service. I went there today for lunch... sat outside, they have a nice location, was given a menu and didn't see a server for 15 minutes, then when I asked about some of the dishes, she replied that she didn't know, she hasn't eaten them... then asking what was the regular special (chiefs choice) for sushi, she didn't know, and didn't offer to ask either. She delivered the food, tossing the chop sticks down, and slamming the plates on the table. She didn't even say enjoy or is there anything else you need or would like. Then when we finished she just put the bill on the table and walked away, saying nothing at all. We took the bill up to the front to pay, since we knew it would take another 10 minutes for her to come around to get it. The woman at the front opened the bill case and said that will be $24.15, we handed the money over and that was it. No thank you or how was everything... It was so strange to be treated like that. We were also the only people dining, after we got our food a couple more tables arrived. I am seriously disappointed with the service and the sushi is horrible. They should not even sell it, also the sushi is way over priced for the quality. I ate some thai there about a month ago and it was ok. The service is the worst.
While the food is very good, it cannot be considered the best Thai in the area. The thing this place offers is location, location, location. Right in the middle of the Village in Grosse Pointe. What a great spot for a sit down/take out place. The dining area is great, large windows overlook the street which is fun for people watching during the lunch hour. The prices are more expensive then other Thai spots, and the portions are smaller. A dinner plate costs anywhere from $10-17 dollars which is high for Thai. But they seem to carry a good business regardless. I like the TN Thai if I'm out in the village at lunch, it beats some of the chain places, Panera, Brugers, and the many other "bread/bagel" places. A good addition of something different, in a sea of chains that seems to be taking over the village lunch dining options.
