Not really a good mall. Its ok. Needs better stores. It caters to young teens and the conservative crown. It doesnt really cater to college students extect for maybe 2 stores. It does not really cater to the ethic, urban crowd. Me and my boyfriend have to go all the way to memphis to shop.
I'm going to miss Circuit City!! Everytime I was in there they asked me if I needed help each time I turned a corner. So I don't know why you other people couldn't get help!! They were just as friendly as ever to me!
One must keep in mind that this is Jonesboro, Arkansas. No mall in such a small town is going to impress a true city dweller. For a single-level mall, it is more than adequate with clothing stores providing wardrobes for children through the elderly. I prefer to shop at Dillards and J.C. Penney's as well as the men's clothing store, Joseph A. Banks.
The food court is small but offers a bit of everything. It is centrally located and therefore convenient as one walks in either direction throughout the mall. Additionally, I have worked with the mall staff on more than one occasion and have always found them to be very friendly and appeasing.
However, the mall was built in a horrible location in the center of town. Therefore, the entrances and exits are crowded and poorly laid out. Traffic surrounding the mall is cumbersome and unnecessary. In any case, parking is more than ample and assuages much of said traffic angst. Additionally, handicapped parking is available and decent as well as sidewalk and sectioned walking areas.
Also, there is not much for children, but parents must realize that a mall is there to sell merchandise and not to entertain children. If you must take your children with you to the mall, then persuade them to behave and take them to an establishment afterward that provides services to children specifically, for example, the Chuck E. Cheese on mall grounds.
