Dinner was only OK. Meat and cheese selection was extensive and very good. The rest of the menu was only OK, but nothing spectacular.
Don't order the slow roasted rabbit, morels and spaghetti chitarra, rabbit was tough and I found bones. A friend had the pizza and said it was nothing special. The Bruschetta of the day was horrid; some sort of bean paste and serrano ham on toast. And the bread was very poor given the restaurant has a brick oven. The Organic New York strip with fennel and leek gratin was a hunk of meat and a small pile of gratin, I wasn't impressed. The Chili-braised pork with garlic and homemade pappardelle was tasty.
But the worst part of the experience was the service and the noise. Water and wine glasses went empty, some of the wait staff had no idea what was in the dishes, and the waiters were no place to be found. If you want to have a conversation, forget about it.
