User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBoth times I met them for adoption I was treated well.The first time I was asked alot of questions but all they needed to know was concerning if I knew about the responsiblity of having a Dog[my first].Also I think they were doing a snap-shot of my character.I realised that their orphans deserved the best second chance they could get.
Now I volunteer there and see the process when I get there early on Saturday.But I have also seen people being given help as new Dog or Cat People
Sorry for the bad experiences.Sometimes the Ladies misjudge and sometimes they have to say No to people that are more about themselfs than the Little Ones.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI called them and was deterred into not going. The fact that soooo many people have lost jobs and/or can not find one, it is so insulting that anyone dealing with the public has an attitude of that magnitude. I called about a pet cat that was abandoned by it's owners and I was treated so nasty, I just hung up. I wonder how the job interview of some of these employees went considering how funky they are now. Someone needs to really investigate these people.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsUnfriendly employees: This is such a great cause, and even though the employees here are quite unfriendly and not forthcoming in answering questions or addressing concerns, I wish that everyone could find it in their heart to consider adopting a pet instead of purchasing one from a pet store.

I agree with you!!! The people at Atlanta Pet Rescue are snotty. they are very rude and if you don't "look" like a good adoption family, they get even worse! The process for adoption is to much and they adoption fees are too high! go around the corning and rescue an animal from Animal Control, they need homes before they are put to sleep!
I agree I been looking for my lost dog all the neighbors i talk to said the driver of the animal services said he was keeping my dog and was not going to take him in instead he took my dog home and breed him for money ihave been there every week and yes they are rude and very very snotty people someone needs to investagate these bad bad people all i can say is itruly miss my big boy please if someone knows something about this. my dog was taken from clifton church road off of gresham he is a big presa canario goes by the name nunu
