User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsLowe's is a pretty good store.I used to love gong there with my family,that is up until the other day while were looking for paint.An off duty employee was throwing herself at my husband "trying" to be helpful,there already was an employee there about to help us.We were very upset about this and because she kept bumping into us over and over throughout the store asking us about whatever we were looking at. We finally left are cart and will not be back again.My poor children was upset all day,they were afraid she would try to follow us home or get are plate # or something. It's not like we aren't good customers we have already spent $12,000 there for are remodle and have a lot more to go.That money money went for her yearly paycheck.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI have always enjoyed coming to this store. I bought new appliances and flooring, not to mention the flowers, toilets....but today probably put an end to it. I had tried on Saturday to get in touch with the plumbing department about a question and was transfered over 6 times. After 15 minutes, I finally hung up. Today I traveled to Oneonta specifically to go to Lowes...I never did find anyone to help me in the plumbing department, so I went on to get a piece of wallboard and molding. One nice gentleman did cut the wallboard for me, but disappeared. I was left to another person who informed me he could not cut the molding because it was not wood. Neither was the wallboard or plastic molding the other person had just cut for me. He said "maybe Home Depot could cut it for me"...I was so hurt that I left. I had 3 grandchildren and my handicapped daughter with me at the time. We had waited over 30 minutes to get waited on those 2 times...With that kind of treatment, I can take my business to Home Depot.....It's a shame cause your establishment has everything ever needed....false advertising does not become one...when you say "we'll even cut it for you" it doesn't say "as long as it's wood and we feel like it"....
