Ryker â well said. I love this place. The prices on drinks are a bit high (Seattle-esque) but the sophistication and quality of service from the waitstaff and bartender makes up for it. Tacoma has needed this for years and it is the establishments like Asado and Masa that are changing the face and sophistication of 6th Ave and Tacoma in general. Outstanding food, drinks and service. I love coming here for drinks with friends.
My boyfriend brought me here to celebrate my birthday in March. The place was very nice and the waiters/waitresses and hostess were very friendly. They even offered me a blanket to cover my legs because of the chill always coming through the doors. When my boyfriend made the reservation over the phone he mentioned it was my birthday. He said the hostess had marked it down. But when we were there no one sang happy bday or anything else. We overheard someone else being sang happy bday to while we were there. Although, I would've felt embarrassed if they did, why would they write it down and not do anything? Also, the food was good but a bit too pricey for the amount u get on your dish. We left the restaurant still hungry.
Outstanding, sophistocated, Seattle-caliber restaurant in Tacoma. The steaks are top-notch, as are the cocktails. We went on a Saturday night without a reservation and had to sit in the bar, but a great experience.
