Do not use this service! I am a lobbyist in DC and like many other people in the DC area I own expensive shirts and suits. On the surface, their service seems very convenient; that is of course if they are responsible with your possessions. Soapy Joeâs lost my dry cleaning with over $2000 worth of clothes inside my laundry bag. Of course they only insure items up to $1000 (Read their fine print) and you have to produce receipts to file a claim. If you have clothes that are valuable, take them to a real brick and mortar cleaner. Do NOT trust this operation with your evening gowns, tuxedos, suits, or tailored shirts because in the event they lose it, you lose major $$$.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExcellent service with fast turnaround: These people saved my wardrobe! Afrer my apartment flooded I called Soapy to clean my clothes etc. that got ruined. They picked up and deliverd my clothes back and folded 48 hours later. Awesome job guys!

I don't know what this "burned customer" is talking about. I have been using them in my apartment building for 3 years and never had a serious problem. One time I had a problem with a shirt and spoke with their customer service who took care of me right away. She even followed up with a call to make sure I was fine 3 days later! That doesn't ever happen in the dry cleaning world. It is so nice to just leave my dry cleaning at my front desk and come back not worrying what time the dry cleaner is closed because I can pick it up until my front desk people go home. 2 thumbs up for Soapy!!!!
