User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsAfter living at the beach all my life, and while on a trip to TN to visit relatives, we decided to try RiverView ... WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE !! First off ALL 5 of us got horribly sick that evening after all eating "true tn bbq". We called the health department to make a complaint to which we were told they would "look into it". Not sure IF they did look into it, but for those of you that dont know 2 or more people becoming sick after eating the same dish is considered a food born illness outbreak. We assume the pork was not properly heated or stored. NOT only did we get sick but we had crappy service as well. I know that from now on I will stick with my "Jim N Nicks" in Hilton Head for TRUE BBQ !!

We recently moved to this area from southwest MI, but we are originally from New Orleans. It's great to find a place nearby that serves good seafood, as well as barbeque. We love the Riverview Grill. It's casual, homey, and serves excellent food. Everyone there is friendly and professional, too. Try it, you'll like it!
