| About: | Cupcake, as the name suggests is a bakery that sells over thirty varieties of cupcakes! Their Red Velvet flavor, which is a chocolate cake topped with cream cheese icing, is the best selling, and if you try it you'll know why! Kristin Kuhlkefounder of the bakerybakes about nine varieties everyday, with flavors changing on a daily basis! Most of the recipes are traditional and family based and if you don't want to try the regular size go in in for the mini cupcakes. The bakery also takes orders for whole cakes and their mega-cupcakea six-inch round cakeis iced over just like the smaller ones. Very tempting and very very nice! |

User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsDoes anyone else not notice that the frosting is reminiscent (in looks only) of novelty rubber dog poop? Eek! Having said that, the frosting tastes only of sugar, like cheesy wedding cake frosting, which can be pleasant if the cake is really good. Which it wasn't. Very bland, for a chocolate cupcake. Stayed moist overnight, but no real flavor. At $3 apiece, I wasn't impressed.

Best cupcakes EVER!! Red velvet is my favorite although the chocolate butterscotch is a close tie. Very cute store with lots of cute goodies. Def. a must visit!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWorst cupcakes ever!!! Red velvet was DRY and the Vanilla cupcake tasted like semi sweet loaf bread. Not worth $2.75 per cupcake. I am from Greenville,N.C. and if you want the best and cheaper cupcakes go to your perfect cake if you are ever in the area. They also have a website yourperfectcake.com
