If you are in the mood to rock and roll with your favorite pop stars, then Celeste Center is the most happening place to be. With a capacity to seat 10,200 people, it has played host to a number of shows with bigwigs from the world of pop. The Center has enough space for 300 booths for a trade exhibition and can accommodate thousands of people in a banquet. |

User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsCe Ce Winans.... A Ministry Event and a Good Time: I was there with my daughters and I'm a big fan of Ce Ce Winans and I must say she didn't disappoint. It started at 7:15 (15 minutes late) and it wasn't full (about 4,500) but once Ce Ce came out, she went non-stop, until 8:45. While the Celeste Center's sound system wasn't first-rate at the beginning (I've heard better and sung with better), it improved as the night went on. Ce Ce sung only 9 songs, but it was moving from the opening song, thru the altar call and into the closing. Ce Ce seemed to slow down, not sure if her voice was completely holding up at the end, but her back-up singers were impeccable and they complimented her very well. All-in-all, Ce Ce didn't disappoint and brought it comparatively to any current top-notch Gospel artist. But what separated her from those artists were her acknowledgement of the ministry aspect of the music and how it had to reach those that were there. She sings it and she believes it. An awesome experience, an awesome night.
