    This a real local bbq joint with competition quality food. The best in Des Moines. Everything is made fresh and is awesome. I particularly love the french fries as they are fresh cut and unbeatable. The ribs and sandwiches are great. They don't make anything that is not good though. One dinner will me more food than you can probably eat in one setting and the prices are cheap. The employees are top notch at taking care of their clients too.

    Been here a couple times, and I'm not impressed. There are much better BBQ places around, and one nearby place that has MUCH better food is Daddy-Os at NW 54th & Hwy 141.

    I didn't like the sauce or the meat (I tried beef and pork). The coleslaw was attrocious, and the beans were very disappointing.

    I'm not a big fan of Famous Dave's, but it's better than this place.
