(this review regards only Sushi)
We almost gave up on this place after 2 visits for Sushi not too long after they opened - after they got their "club" license we gave it another shot and GLAD we did. And Sushi w/out Sapporo is, well......you know!! It is now quite fine, if a notch below excellent, and definitely good enough when the alternative is to drive another 30 miles to Mt. Fuji, the queen of LR Sushi, or __________________!!!
Only two complaints: the Sashimi portions are too small given the price, and the Akagai (Red Clam) is NOT the real thing, which is sadly common in Arkansas. I've only found Akagai at Osaka; most don't even have it on the menu...
As with all Sushi bars in AR (and most every other "land-locked" venue), you have to use the stupid 'crib sheets' to order instead of developing a relationship with the Sushi-man at the bar; annoying.
GO for Sushi, you won't be disappointed!
The service at Fuji is always top notch. The food is excellent and even better when you sit at the hibachi and eat. There is nothing better than having your food cooked right in front of you to your liking.
Fabulous food with excellent service. We usually sit in the open restaurant and the quality of food is the best.
