User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was treated here for my b-day. Churrascaria's are my favorite type of restaurant for all that meat and good food and this place was the best b-day present. The food was great. from the buffet items to the meats. I highly recommend the tri-tip. the best!...Excellent service. We had the waiter coming to us every so often to check up on us and everytime we turned our "stick" to green the servers were there with the meat within a minute or two. Check it out if you like Churrascaria. Great place, great quality, great value.

Excellent place and I am very fond of meats. I have been in Picanha, Fogo de Chao, Gaucho's Village, Greenfield (Azusa)but Porto Alegre defeats them all. Expensive but quality is perfect. Service very good. I would say that if they drop their costs a bit they will knock the competition down.

Wonderful for lunch or with a large group. Dinner is pricier.
The meat is good, depending on your taste. They have an extensive salad bar including shrimp, cheeses, salad and pasta salads, fruit, etc, etc. I would go here for the salad bar alone for $18.00 at lunch. The location is nice where you can sit at your table and look down on all of the people below in the plaza. I would recommend this highly!Comments (1)

Fogo's is soooo much better. Avoid this place if you can!!!!!!
Can you expand on the reasons? Why do you think it is much better? Which place are you talking about? Fogo's or Porto Alegre? Why?
I've been to both.. and i think they are both the same in comparison. They are definitely the best of churrascaria's around!! At fogo de chao you are just paying more.
