User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsTime and time again I am impressed by the regular menu items (especially the chicken curry) as well as the specials. I LOVE the grouper special and their gazpacho!! Aside from the food, Salaam has always been a comfortable, welcoming place to bring your friends or family and have a nice time without ever feeling like you're being rushed out the door. I can't wait to eat there more.

Salaam is my favorite restaurant in Athens. I eat there often for lunch and pretty often for dinner. My favorites are the falafel wrap, the lamb kabob, and any of thier dal dishes... healthy and so delicious! I also really like the salaam salad with nuts and feta and pomegranate dressing.
The place is decorated beautifully. There's a fountain, and there's a little room you can reserve for anniversaries and so forth, and lots of beautiful rugs and wall decor. The service is pretty good. The waitresses at lunchtime are especially good at their jobs, and make you feel very wellcome. All in all, a nice addition to the rather limited restaurant situation here in Athens. -

I have eaten there once and shall certainly go back. Nearly everything was very good or excellent, including the service. The lamb and beef were cooked with precision to each person's wishes. My salad was a bit innocuous but the ingredients were fresh and selected with care. There were seven of us and I believe I'm speaking for the group. Athens is fortunate to have this addition to a handful of quality restaurants.
