Windcrest Pet Resort

I will never give this resort, if you can call it that, my business again. When I picked up my dogs, they had no water in the run on a 100 degree day. When the man working there could not get my two small dogs out of the run, the owner suggested I go back and get them myself. That's when I witnessed the worker attempting to kick one of my dogs who was out of the run. I found my other dog terrified and shaking in the corner of the run.

You would think after spending a week at this boarding facility the dogs would have warmed up to the guy working there. They didn't, which leads me to believe that this person cared nothing about the dogs staying there. In addition there was a very heavy cigarette stench in the office area, pretty disgusting. This company did not provide any written agreement prior to leaving my dogs about what their policies and procedures were. They could not even tell me what the procedure was in case of fire. They have no sprinkler system, all the worker could tell me is "well, the owner lives on the property."

Avoid this place. The owner treated me with very little respect. I boarded my dogs and my cousins two dogs together in one run. We asked that one dog (a food hog) be seperated while eating and the employee working said they could accomodate that, though they do not like to. They seperated the dog (food hog) the entire visit and charged us for an additional run without notifing us! When I expressed my disapointment in them not contacting us the owner took an on an attitude towards me and began raising his voice and told me that I had an attitude. When I signed the receipt he yanked it out of my hand. He wanted to argue with me on what was said between myself and his employee. Horrible cutomer service and very little respect for his customers. My animals were terrified of both the owner and employee after staying one week. The animals received very little attention and I do not believe this establishment is pet friendly. When I asked about the security aspects of the facility the employee laughed and treated me like I was incompetant and dumb for asking. The only good thing I can say about this place is that my animals were alive when I picked them up.

Dont do business with this place. Overcharges and minimal care of your pet
