Poppi's Pub

I ate at this restaurant today and my initial thought was that it was a very cute place. Unfortunately, that is all they have going for them. We waited at least 10 minutes to get our waters, then once we ordered it took forever to get our food. I had their chicken wings and they were under cooked and overall just horrible. Our server never came back after bringing us our food, so not only did I not get to tell him about the undercooked wings, but I also did not have anything to drink the whole meal. We finally had to go get him so we could get out check. We also witnessed several other customers making complaints about things while we were there. The place was not very busy, but somehow the 2 servers could not handle it. I would not go back here ever again.

I like this place-the new owners are just as great as the prev. For the record "True" German Food was never there, but the food was still good enough to bring me back several times. I must say unfortunately that the quality of the menu has declined as of late. The new owners menu comes across as just boring after 1 or 2 visits, I really hope they can pull it together because I really like them + their place.

I was not impressed with the food or the service when i ate at this restaurant a couple weeks ago. I ordered the Philly CheeseSteak and was told by the server(Matt), that it was one of their best items on the menu. It took absolutely forever. They were not even busy. And i could not seem to get a refill. My glass stayed empty until my food finally came out. It took over an hour to get my food and even then, it was cold and was not up to par by any means. I asked to speak to the manager, and was told that they don't even have a manager. The owner came out and spoke to me and was very rude. kept making excuses for this so called "Matt". Blamed the whole thing on the kitchen....If the food was cold, obviously that means the server didnt go and get it when it was ready. So i dont understand why the owner would make excuses for him.....

your right, as much as I hate to say it, I like this place+ it just goes further down the hill every time I go there.
