Cafe Orleans

I love this restaurant and go quite often: The overall atmosphere of Cafe Orleans is a warm and loving family oriented restaurant. It offers such a variety of New Orleans style dishes and the best muffalattas I have ever had in the south. I grew up in Chalmette and these owners have that flair of the Chalmette area where everyone is family and they make you feel welcome and get to know you by name. The variety of food is always excellent and the portion sizes are always more than I can eat. The value is bar none the best overall around. By all means, try the restaurant out and now the sister restaurant Cafe Orleans II is open for breakfast Wednesday through Sunday. They too, have the same menu and oh by the way the biggest and best bread pudding anywhere around. Both restaurants get my highest approval rating possible.
