| About: | Located adjacent to Universal Studios and Universal City Walk , this indoor venue hosts a variety of acts year-round. It was previously known as Universal Amphitheatre. The layout consists primarily of an extended orchestra and loge section, with a small balcony/mezzanine above. Most of the seats are good in this 6021 person capacity amphitheatre, but try to avoid the corners on either side of the stage. Along with the steady stream of big name acts, the venue hosts a number of unique events sponsored by local radio stations and other groups. |

User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsthey should have better lightning, better seats, more cup holders, more space for your legs, and redecorate the theater b/c it looks as old as my grandma.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starslack of intimacy: Intimacy --- it lacks. It looks as though it could do so much more, yet the acoustics just ... suck.
I've tried. Really I've tried to embrace this place... but whether I shell out half a yuppie stamp for parking... or splurge and do the full twenty for preferred parking...
I always walk away thinking to m'self --- NO MATTER how amazing the performance --- there's something lacking.
There's a coldness to theater --- and it's NOT the temperature.
Can't put m'finger on it. It just is what it is.

wow, that's pretty shocking to hear! this is a great venue and the sound is incredible!! the only thing that sucks is that they don't have better concerts!!
