The Artisan is the real locals hangout in Snowmass Village. The food is amazing and well priced, while the atmosphere ranges from a casual patio scene where you can enjoy a pint of beer to an elegant dining room where you can enjoy a first class meal for a special occassion.
This is by far the best restaurant in Snowmass.

Not only is the artisan my favorite place to eat in Snowmass Village, I eat their 2 to 3 times a week. I can say I have had everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed in the food and service. If you’re planning a getaway in Snowmass village you have to check out the Artisan.

Best Restaurant in Snowmass‎ - The bar menu offers prices that hover between $10 and $12 per dish (considered the best deal in Snowmass). Try the Maytag blue cheese burger for $12- by far the best burger in town. There is a great deck out back that overlooks the pool. With good beers on tap- the bar is a great locals hangout.
Right next to the bar is the main restaurant. The menu is excellent and changes often. Local favorites include the slow roasted duck with drunken cherry sauce or the Colorado lamb chops with rosemary polenta and moroccan olive plum tomato ragu. Try the grilled artichoke with truffle oil drizzle for an appetizer- it is so juicy and delicious. The restaurant menu prices are a steal- plenty of food on your plate- ranging from $18 to $38, with the surf and turf at $52. mmmmm..good
