What a gem of a salon! Extremely professional, extremely knowledgeable, super clean, and refreshingly 'non-gossipy' atmosphere, unlike the countless other salons I've been to. Sherry couldn't have been more knowledgeable on all aspects of color, cut and products. She suggested a new style of more natural-looking highlighting after listening to what type of style and maintenance I was looking for (I came in with HEAVY bleach blonde foils and about a 2-inch brown root!), and my hair came out looking, in all honesty, the best it's ever looked. Perfectly my style and a great cut was the icing on the cake. I'm very happy to have found my permanent stylist and have already referred two coworkers!

6 Degrees is a beautiful and unique salon. I was happy when I was greeted with a smile when I walked in. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about all the products on their shelves. I have very fine hair and have trouble maintaining it beacuse it gets very greasy. I hadn't found the right product to use until I went to 6 Degrees and was exposed to Kerastase. In fact, 6 Degrees is the only salon in Portsmouth that carries the product.

This is also one of the only salons that I have ever been to that doesn't allow tipping. I found this very helpful considering that I never know how much I should leave at the end of a styling. The fact that they don't allow tipping alleviates that awkwardness.

Thanks 6 Degrees for making my experience a great one. I will never use another salon in Portsmouth. The cut was great, the staff was wonderful and the view that overlooked the harbor was amazing. Thanks 6 Degrees.
