Cant wait to see what else they have done.: Was my first visit to Wewahitcka. And I stayed at the bed and breakfast. I felt right at home. The owner even came and talked to me. They made sure I was comfortable and showed me around to make sure I was alright. He asked if anything I needed. The stay was peaceful and very relaxing. Very pretty out and all around it was by far the best place I have ever stayed and felt like home instead of feeling like I was out of town. Thanks Front Porch I appreciate it.
Very Nice Accomodations and Brand New: Recently,(early Sept 2006) we found this brand new B+B on Route 71 in Wewahitchka,Fl. My wife and I were on our way to Port St. Joe and had planned on staying at The Port Inn, before we could get into our vacation home the next day.(It was rented). What a pleasant surprise and very reasonable.($85 with private Bathroom). There was a nice pool and the rooms are very nicely appointed with everything you would need, including T.V.s. They have large screen plasma T.V. 's in the common areas. While John and Lydia Webb don't have their Food licsence yet, they more than made up for that with their service and personalities. This will be a great little place and there is basically nothing in Wewa. Wait until the fisherman and hunters find out about this place, it is like the 4 seasons compared to the other accomodations and the price is cheap. I am almost hesitant to mention the place for fear of it getting booked all the time, the Aussie owner (John) was just too nice not to reccomend this little jem. It is quite an alternative to the few and expensive hotels near the coast.Peter J. Burns
