I have been coming to Vico almost since it opened and it never disappoints. I'd call this refined homestyle Italian, but not the "red sauce" stuff you find everywhere else. I find comparisons more to places in Italy than to ones in the US. Standouts include a big bistecca fiorentina from Grazing Angus nearby, (though it hasn't been on the menu for a while - why?) an amazing Milanese chop, replete with bone-in "handle." Outdoor dining at its best in the summer in the lovely garden, especially after one or two Vico signature martinis (pomegranate flavor).

I have to say that I have been to virtually EVERY restaurant in the area and this is by FAR the best. The atmosphere is perfect, not too loud not too quiet, not too dimly lit. The service is always warm and friendly. I am a vegetarian and when there is nothing on the menu that appeals to me, they are always happy to create something amazing. This is the ONLY place that I eat everything on my plate and even order desert. They make the best martini's I have ever had. The food is so decadent and pleasing to the eye. When it passes the lips thats when it hits you...amazing. I always order a side of veggies and devour them. They dont overcook, or kill with sauces. It is my absolute favorite plate to have an amazing dinner.
