My daughter stopped at the Kangaroo Market at Drakesboro,Ky. on Tuesday June 2,2009 to get gas on the way to prepare sack lunches for kids in the Drakesboro area that don't get lunches since school is out.When she pulled up to the pumps they set the tanks to fill up her car,and when she went in to pay refused to accept her check.There is no sign posted anywhere on the pumps or inside the store.She called me her dad and I drove about 25 miles back to where she was and I paid for the gas.When I questioned why there was no sign the lady at the register said we had one up about a year ago and everyone knows we don't take checks.We evidently live in an area where everyone but us has ESP and I wonder what other facts we are missing out on that everyone else knows about.If you are driving from out of town or State please be aware Kangaroo or the Pantry thinks you already know all ther rules.I hope all the Pantry Stores aren't run like the one at Drakesboro.
