I've been to Rita's a few times now and it has always been a delight. The aromas and flavors of the delicious food bring back memories of eating at Grandma's house, if my Grandma was Lebanese! The dining room is cozy and very clean and Rita and her family always make me feel at home.

Just ate at Rita's last week. I enjoy mideastern food, and regularly dine at my local place in Vermont. I was astounded by how much better some of my favorite dishes were at Rita's. We had falafel, baba ghanoush, and
spinach pies. All superb. Also the kibbeh, which I enjoyed but is not a dish I usually get. Friendly, clean, inexpensive.
I found this place purely by accident when I first moved to Albany. I love Lebonese food and love to support local places so I decided to try it. To my delight, it was absolutely fantastic! The food is like what my grandmother use to make. It brought back so many memories enjoying the foods they prepared. I had the Kibi, and the appetizer was a sampler platter of tabouleh, baba ganouj, hummus, with grape leaves. It was so good I walked out of there stuffed! On top of everything, the owners are very friendly, and the cafe is very clean! I always suggest this place to all of my friends and family when they ask about someplace new.
