Movie theater # 9: I went to see the "9/11" movie with friends. We went as our first Singles Group outing for Church. The theater was clean, and it was not really busy. The snacks we purchased was okay.

I ran into difficulty with the popcorn. It was not crunchy. It made an odd dull sound as I bit into it. I take it without butter and no salt so that I may taste the flavor of popcorn as it is already popped in grease. It had flavor. Quite a bit of kernels sat at the bottom of the bag, but it was as if someone left it out all night and the cold had gotten to it.

The theater itself smelled. The odor carried itself to all the areas of that theatre. It was intense and you surely could not miss this smell. It smelled of old clothing, and sweat. It smelled as if it had been closed up for the winter and no one bothered to freshen the air in there. I have one word of advise for this theater...Febreeze.

The people who greeted us as we entered were very courteous, and the smiles said it was a good day to be there. The counter help was extremely patient and gracious. The junk food came quickly and the lines were small.

I would rate this particular theater on a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being the best, as a 5 due to the odor in the theater and the popcorn being stale thus not allowing me to fully enjoy the night out as I would have liked to.
