Hubby and I eat here at least once or twice a year. A great place in Brookside and so much better than a chain restaurant . We love the atmosphere and the food, plus you can actually get a table on Saturday night!

Domo is a nice place to go. The atmosphere is upscale, the food is great, but as another reviewer stated: you get what you pay for. This is not a budget sushi experience, or a place to take you children to check out different cultures' flavors. It is however an excellent place to take a date, plus the location in Brookside gives you plenty of after dinner activities.

If you're looking for excellent budget dining with a more relaxed atmosphere, and a place to take your family, check out Siki in Lee's Summit. The staff are as friendly as Domo, and the food just as good, its not as opulent and you can stretch a dollar a bit further.

We have spent a year searching for good sushi in KC since moving from the coast. Without a doubt, Domo is THE BEST sushi in the KC metro (of at least 6 sushi places we have tried)... and you wouldn't even know you're in the midwest. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and quality fish. It's not cheap, but hey, you get what you pay for. Going to pick up take out tonight.
