User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThey have awesome food!! Especially the breakfast burrito. Get there early or you will be waiting for a table. They are always packed so don't be the late riser.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsthe egg&i is one of the best breakfast/lunch restuarants in houston but be prepared to wait especially on the weekends which gets amazingly busy, it may seem caitoic but just stick with it b/c the food is awsome and is different from the mainstream restuarants. i used to work at the lakewood forest egg&i and it had to be one of the most professional, fun, energetic places i've worked at and always heard good things about the feel of the resturant, the wait staff and host staff and how well the managers would conduct themselves and make u feel very well at home.

We went to the egg and i ... waited in line for what they told us would be 20 minutes... in reality we waited for 50 minutes. when we got inside, it looked like a cheap hotel.... very dated. The waitstaff was unfriendly, but it was busy so maybe it wasen't always that bad... we waited another 30 minutes for our cold food... It was now time to go get lunch... haha! totally not worth it. next time i will make my own breakfast
