    Tony...Tony...Tony...

What a piece of work. I tested a Cobalt & find it to be a nice car. Black, electric windows/locks, 38,000miles, and $12,500 price ticket. Was seriously considering purchasing this car until the day I went to the bank. Bank was willing to loan me $11,800 and they wanted $12,500 plus. When leaving the bank I called Tony & told him the results...I told him that I still wanted the car but wanted to know If they would take $11,800 off the lot. He said, "Yes, we will sell it at that price."

Me being completely estatic thinking that I was going to drive in, in a lemon and then leave with a Cobalt....I got there to find out two things: 1) He couldn't sell the car at that price & 2)the dent & nick in the paint wasn't done although he told me that they were fixed. In addition the car was next vacuumed out and he asked if I could wait for them to vacuum it out.

I was very upset because they acted as if I was causing them a huge inconvience. When I told them that the bank wouldn't grant me any more $$ because the KBB indicates it's not worth what they wanted for it, the bank could only grant me KBB value. Tony had asked me if i could barrow the $$ off of a relitive & I said no & he said, "Well I don't know what to tell you."

Then when i said I was just going to walk away, he said, "ok let me talk to my boss." He then proceeded to ask his boss, and his boss said to sell me the car...but they didn't completely close the door all the way & I heard the whole convo.

Let's just say that, it wasn't a nice convo geared towards me. When he came back in he said, i could have it and I told him nevermind I have decided to decline. He was very rude & said, "what, I have had several customers come in here wanting to purchase that car and I held it for you 2days."

Then when I asked for my $200 back he refused to give it to me. Me being too scared I walked away but shortly returning with my father. My dad, of course was able to get my $$ back...considering he came in with his uniform on...did I mention he's a cop.

Anyways, I had a very terrible experiance and hopefully your lucky enough for them to treat you differently. I ended up purchasing a fabalous car from John Seretti Chevorlet in Moon township. It had 18,000 miles, tons of options, Cobalt supersport, with the sports pachage...all for $10,100 off the lot. Great Deal!

Well, their used car salesman Tony sold me a Mitsubishi Lancer Rally Edition. The Kelly Blue Book value is approximately $10,000 in excellent condition at the mileage I have. They sold it to me for $12,000. That's $2,000 over the actual value of the car not to mention the interest I will be paying on this lemon. The car was not cleaned when it was given to me. The dust from the prior owner is still there. In two weeks, the car has failed to turn over twice. The brakes make a horrible grinding sound and the car rumbles at high speeds. Not to mention I found out I had a family of spiders living in it. They are scam artists and look at their inventory for used cars and then pull up Kelly Blue Book. They will swindle you too. If I have to, I will take them to court. Worst purchase I ever made. Please avoid.

    good deals - 02/27/09
I have purchased a few cars from Micks Dodge. Have found them to be more than kind. They have stood behind any complaint I have ever had. As far as Kelly Blue book goes, Go get a wholesale licence and then buy what ever it is you wish. You can not find a car on any lot for Kelly Blue Book priceing. Any IDOT knows this. Its a guide line only. What about reconditioning of vehicle and inspections?Kelly does not include these prices in their numbers. If you are unsatisfied with used, then splurge and buy new.
