| About: | Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) safely delivers increased oxygen into the body at the cellular level by using a pressurized chamber. It Is The Pressure that makes HBOT so effective. This increased oxygen has been shown to revive idling neurons (nerve cells) in the brain and nervous system. It creates additional energy to be used by the cells to advance function and repair, it stimulates the growth of new blood vessels, decreases inflammation and swelling, dislodges and eliminates toxins, and enhances the immune system. User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsMy two kids, one autistic and one ADHD with some Aspie symptoms have just had 10 sessions of HBOT - and regressed! Has any one had similar experiences? I don't find any adverse reactions reported on the net? My son became hyper-hyper-hyper, completely motormouthed; my daughter lost speech she'd gained in the last two years, slurred what she retained and has started lining things up and doing auditory stims - things which she hasn't done for the last two years! why???

After two months my husband is well: My husband suffered strokes in August 2006 that resulted in total loss of short-term memory, slurred speech, and difficulty walking. The doctors said he may never recover, and if he did it would take at least two years. Now, after only two months of oxygen therapy his memory is back, and his speech and walking are normal. His energy has improved. Dr. Saft is one of the most caring individuals we have ever met. It is a pleasue to see him every day. We can't thank him enough for what he has done for us.

ALS and hyperbaric: I have been using O2 for 8 mos. and believe it has slowed the progress of my disease.I have more energy than others I know with ALS.Dr. Saft has been very caring and supportive.I feel lucky to be involved in this therapy.
