User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis place is great, a real winner. They have some of the best the food I ever had and the service is very good too. I have told all my friends about this place. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to eat without having to spending all your money. The prices are very reasonable and the owners are very accommodating. Give this place a try.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWow what a great find. I was meeting a friend in Montclair on Monday and we couldn't find the place we were looking for. Little did we know, that was the best thing that couldâve happen to us. It was some of the best foods we have ever had. It reminded me of the food I eat in Israel last year. My friend normally doesn't like to try something new but he tried the chicken special. It was like a stuffed chicken with eggplant, roasted pepper and mozzarella cheese. I tried it, it so good. I had their sampler dish. It was like this huge 7 or 8 different appetizer all on dish and so good. The service was great. The ambiance was spectacular. We love this place now. We are going to definitely recommend this place to everyone.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe service was great. The atmosphere was nice except for the loud middle eastern music that was blasting in my ear. The outside seating is some of the best in montclair.
The food was not that great. My girlfriend appears to be having some stomach issues at the moment. She had the squid in a cilantro tomato sauce, accompanied by curry rice. I don't really think the flavors were meant to go together, and the squid had an odd texture, but that's just me. I know this is supposed to be a combination of different middle eastern flavors, but it seemed to be a mix of greek, mexican, indian, and turkish. Maybe just a little too much for our pallets. I had the lamb kebob. The lamb was a little tough, and the rice was also pretty overpowering.
It seems like this restaurant is getting some awesome reviews, so I am going to have to re-evaluate my whole culinary perspective at this point.
