Upon staying here, we learned that this place does not like children. Families with children are watched closely and constantly unfairly criticized. There is a sign in the office that says pets are welcome, but children must be on a leash, and this is TOO true! It is ironic, as when I complained, the Manager told me that they cater to senior citizens. In looking at the park (which was only 60% full on Memorial Weekend - hint, hint, all other campgrounds are usually full) there were mainly families there. I think they have a false sense of who camps (which is mostly families) and who their customers are. They have a 10PM quite time rule, we learned this means inside your RV, which is not how quite time is described in their rules. Can you imagine your children in the rv quietly watching a movie and you and your husband and parents are sitting outside your rv visiting and being told that is nearly 10 pm, so please go inside your rv now? This seriously happened to us - we had no music on, were not drinking and making any noise, other than a simply talking. I was amazed and extremely offended! This place is $40 to $50 per night and the restrictions and constant supervision of the elderly couple that are the grounds keepers and the owners/mangers who could care less, make for an un-relaxing vacation. If you have children, do your entire family a favor and find another place to stay that actually caters to all their customers, not just seniors that want absolute quiet.
