We went in November for Christmas pictures because of the sale package. I have never ever walked out of a place before but there's always room for firsts. Arrived early before our appointment but the place was jam packed! We ended up waiting an hour with an infant to get in...when we finally were called I thought this was it. Nope....after a rushed few pictures they told us to sit again and wait for the next room. After 15 minutes I had my husband ask if we can skip the next room and just get Christmas pictures. With reluctance they said okay. Then I realized we had to wait for a computer to open up to view our pictures! After 30 minutes and no one moving, we left. On top of it, I got to witness a family with some absolutely hideous pictures and some woman trying her hardest to up sell when the family obviously couldn't afford it. The worker was getting very rude the lower they went in price. Tbh, if I had those ugly photos I would have not spent a dollar. I suggest going to jcpenney in Haywood. The photographer there is great and they aren't pushy with selling. And there is rarely a wait.
Not Going Back. So, we had an appointment for 6:40 PM. We arrived 10-15 minutes early and the place was packed. The person working the front desk told us it would be 20 to 25 minutes after our 6:40 appointment. Those 25 minutes turned into 40 minutes. We almost walked out but we had already invested so much time we decided to stick it out. The coupon wasn't much help either, we still ended up paying a lot of $$ for just "OK" photos of our 3 kids. We finally left around 8:15, we didn't feel like spending another 20 minutes in a crowded waiting room for the photos. Waste of our time and money. We will go elsewhere for our pictures. We probably take family photos twice a year, un-fortunately for Portrait innovations, they have lost a well-paying customer.
This portrait studio advertises a 9.95 package price. We attempted to get my daughter and her two cousins Easter Pictures made, as well as the two cousins with their mom and dad, and then my daughter separately. I was informed over the phone that it is only one package deal per family, and that we could do a tripple sitting, where we combine all of the pictures together. At this point, we may choose ONE pose at 9.95, and then select other poses in package prices that start at 49.99. Where is the 'ease and low prices' at this point in my day? They seriously want me to place a two month old, a five month old and a 18 month old through four hours of posing and moving and arranging. I just don't see this being a good experience, and one that, based on the phone conversation, we are unlikely to have. It may take a while to wait for pictures at Wal-Mart, but they at least know how to effectively deal with customers' needs.
