We love this place!!! I have had them cater lots of parties for me over the last few years and everyone just raves about the BBQ. This July 4th we ordered 20% more because we always run out. Of course we ran out anyway... no matter how much is on the table, seems like no one can get enough. My stepdad and father-in-law looooove the fried chicken livers and the coleslaw with pinapple is delicious!!! Thanks L'il Neal's for the best bbq in town!!!

Lil Neal definately knows how to cook southern barbaque.Food is always excellent, friendly service too.

I am a local in New Smyrna and I have been there twice. The first time I had a bbq sandwich and that was ok, nothing special. The second time I ordered a full meal and it was TERRIBLE! The greens were slimy and had an odd flavor to them. I am from the South and this is not how greens are made...eeewwww. The coleslaw was runny and was way to sweet, more like a dessert than coleslaw. The bbq was bland, greasy, and had so much grizzle in it. I would not recommend this place. Plus the waitress was rude and did not want to interrupt her cell phone call to take my order.
