Simin's Home Care

When I moved to Los Gatos, I must have looked at over 20 daycare/ homecare facilities in the area before finding this place. You walk into Miss Simin's home and you just know that it is a fantastic place for children to learn and grow.
I placed my 8 month old and my 2 year old at the time with Simin and they both still love going there 12 months later.
Simin is the best kind of caregiver you could ask for-she is maternal, extremely creative (the artwork and music she does with the kids is fantastic-my children have done everything from building paper mache volcanoes, to planting flowers to making mobiles and finger painting), and is extremely dedicated to teaching (she is a former kindergarten teacher). My older daughter who is now 3 has learned to count to 100, spell her name and has learned colors, shapes, the days of the week etc. She is constantly learning new songs and Miss Simin always has new books for the children to read.
Her homecare is warm, extremely organized and clean, and is full of toys, artwork and pictures of the children. She has a great group of children and has been extremely flexible with my younger one to ensure that he sleeps when he needs it the most (not according to a clock).
I can't say enough about this place. I'm really glad I found it. I wasn't ready to put my kids into a big institution-but was looking for a school like environment with the comforting atmosphere that home care provides. Miss Simin's place is just that.
