User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsBest Tanning Salon Ever?????????? You have got to be kidding!!!! This place is grossly overpriced, is not open the hours they say they're open. They closed for the entire week of Thanksgiving, so my one month package was more like 22 days. I here they finally closed down. I can't believe they made it this long.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBEST TANNING SALON EVER!: It really is a retreat going to Valla. The owner is so nice, its unbelievable! The salon is beautiful, clean and a great experience. It is a little more expensive, compared to most tannning salons, but you know how they say, you get what you pay for, it is completely true in this situation! I highly encourage everyone whos interested in going to this salon, to go. They also sell beautiful jewlery, designer sun glasses, swimwear, and TONS of GREAT lotions. After your tan, in an amazing bed of your choice of the 4 they have, they welcome you to having a coffee, expresso, capauccino, water or soda. Each room also has its own ihome music player, where if you have an ipod you can hook it up to listen to your favorite songs as you tan, or choose from the thousands of songs that they already have for you. I have nothing bad to say about this salon, it is beautifuly kept, and always clean. I have never had a bad experience and have nothing bad to say about my times at the salon!

A fabulous place - and you can drive to it!!: Any review of the Valla Retreat should begin with three letters - WOW!! his is possibly the most elegant place many of us will ever be in. The tanning experience would be enough to be called memorable but the extraordinary selection of exquisite merchandise boggles the mind. And a salon that creates and sells its own custom made and marvelous creams, perfumes and natural cleansers is awesome! There are not enough superlatives to even begin to characterize or describe this place. Heaven probably contains thousands of them, but here on earth -visit this one - and quick too...give yourself a treat---you're worth it!

why was it shut down? I also had a membership there but had to cancel b/c i was preg, when I went back I noticed they were closed
it is very hard to make a profit in the tanning business these days... salons on every other corner made me move on to other ventures.... i think their prices kept most customers away... 90% of indoor tanners want 19.95 per month unlimmited.... and at that price, just paying the rent and electric is hard...
Awww that bites! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service! After searching for a spot I had finally found one, now I must search again! :( I hope I can finad another place like it.. Know of any?
