Italian food is hard to find in this area - it ain't NY by any means! Dibz is a diamond in the rough, even though it isn't owned by Italians. I can't remember the country they are from, but they have a slavic accent. They claim that they grew up eating and cooking Italian food. I love their hamburgers and the summer pasta. I've been 5 times, and 3 of those times I got the burger - that's how delicious it is. The portions are very generous and the value is good. The pasta dishes are what most people order b/c that's what makes up most of the menu. The bring-your-own policy is no problem - that's a very smart way to go for both parties. The family who owns the place as well as the waitresses are very friendly and will make conversation with you, especially if they remember you. You will leave full and probably with leftovers. The desserts are very expensive for what you get - the value isn't as good as the regular menu options. We tried the canoli for dessert, and it was very malty/gritty - I had it in NY countless times and I remember the pudding-like substance inside being very smooth & creamy. I'm no canoli expert, but I didn't care for it very much. Anyway, as far as food and value and service goes, I definitely recommend this place. If you are in a hurry b/c of work, let them know and they do their best to rush your order.
Excellent food selection & the best pasta I've had anywhere, staff is very warm and welcoming to all. The prices are great, else where you would pay double to have a meal serve to you as would at Dibz.
Dibz is a fabulous restaurant as well as catering service. Not only have we dined there several times we have also used them to cater special events. At our events, the guests were amazed at the quality and taste of the food. The staff at Dibz worked with us extensively to create a menu for our event that suited our tastes. Their food in house is OUTSTANDING and always fresh and homemade. I highly recommend the Dibz Penne. Dibz is very much a jewel for the city of Temple and a must see for visitors and residents alike.
