We dined at Bonefish in Leawood this past week. The food was delicious and our waiter Cahill, was excellent. He obviously knew the menu well because his suggestions were "right on". He had a good knowledge of the wine selection and, as a result, my husband and I are now fans of
Cakebread Chardonay - perfect choice. We moved to Leawood from Chicago this past fall and it was fun to talk to a waiter who also lived in the Windy City! Each time we visit your restaurant we will ask for this young man. Keep up the good work and we'll keep coming backk!
I love this place and I've eaten here alot. The service is always perfect, the food delicious and the prices are low for the quality of the food. I've had everything on the menu the only thing I didn't like was the trout.... but I don't like trout. Do try the bang bang shrimp, yum. The crab cakes actually have huge pieces of lump crab meat....amazing. I like this place much better than McCormick and Schmidt. The only drawback is the menu is alittle limited, no raw oysters or crablegs. It's always packed on the weekends, make reservations or you will wait for over an hour.
We both order lobster tails. Lobster and sides arrived cold and sent back. Upon return one plate missing tail and other dried microwaved!! Floor manager gave US a lecture as if it was somehow our fault! Finally, meal redone; lobster was good ~ sides still cold. Poor customer service. Left angry!
