Delicious food and fantastic atmosphere. I eat there 2 or 3 times a week and have told lots of people about the restaurant.
My brother introduced me to this place and I suggest asking the host/owner what he suggests. He will ask you a couple questions and choose something for you. The food is absolutely delicious and if you go for lunch, costs only about $6.00!
I suggest the spicy food because the spicy dishes is definately what they excel at.
I as suggest trying their sticky rice dessert with custard, I wasn't sure at first but now I crave it every day!
I stopped going to fast food for lunch and started going here, it'll be the best choice you ever made for lunch!
Promise Thai: I kept seeing good reviews in the Wichita Eagle and finally decided to see for myself. The sign said "closed" but then later, I talked to the owner of Java Villa, and he said it was actually opened. So I must've gotten there a day when they were just closed for the day. Who knows? Anyway it is a nice airy looking restaurant with many windows, very clean and modern looking. The prices for dinner were a bit higher then what I was expecting, but the food was tasty. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, and it was a little different, maybe not as varied in ingredients, as Pad Thai I have eaten elsewhere, both here in Wichita and in Dallas. But it was still very tasty. I'd like to go back and try other dishers. The host/hostess (owners? managers?) were very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my first visit and look forward to more visits.
