User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWe just had dinner and were pretty disappointed. Not so much in the food, though mine was barely warm, but in the service. This was our anniversary. We heard our server ask a couple at another table if it was a special occasion, it was their anniversary. The server brought them a dessert to share and congratulated them. The server never asked us. Mind you, I looked at this couple several times and they weren't all over each other - there was no indication it was a "special night." When a table was seated behind us, our server announced the specials. We were never told about any specials. The server provided them with two choices of soup. We were only told about one soup offering. I think there needs to be consistency in service. This was a Monday night. There were only a few tables - it wasn't hectic. We were dressed better than most as we had just come from work so I have no clue as to why we would be treated differently. I'm not so sure we'll go back.

If your planning to have a meal here it is a good idea to ask ahead of time if the owner will be on the premises that day. The food varies from good to wonderful. The service varies quite a bit more. We have noticed that when the owner is on the floor the experience is much closer to perfection.

Just tried the brunch. Lovely ambience, but... Bloody Mary insipid; sparking wine very good; eggs Benedict overdone; smoked salmon superb; bagels dreadful; bacon greasy; service slow. But we'll try again for dinner...
